Deep red with a purplish hue. Intense perfume, fruity when young, with hints of red fruit and underwood, violet, iris, spices, coffee and bitter chocolate.

Delicious paired with all types of cheese, even hard and mature, excellent with fresh and creamy goats cheese, pastries and all types of biscuits.

Additional Information: This Recioto is made with corvina, corvinone, rondinella and oseleta grapes picked during the last ten days of September from the hilly "Le Novaje" vineyard located 280-300 meters above sea level in Novaia, Marano di Valpolicella (Verona).

Grapes undergo a natural over-ripening in a traditional hilly cellar for about 4 months. The wine ages for 18 months in barrique and 6 months in a bottle. The sugar residue gives a sweet, velvety, warm and extremely intense taste with a very long aromatic persistence with evident hints of dark fruit and vanilla.
