Located in the picturesque village of Passy sur Marne in the heart of the Marne Valley, the Lequeux-Mercier family has produced their own Champagnes for four generations.

Sustainably farmed with no use of pesticides. Concentrating on wines from single-plot vintages reflecting the land and creating atypical vintages mainly focussing on the Pinot Meunier grape, there is little intervention in the winery creating Champagnes that bring out the characteristics of each of their five vineyards.

The domaine produces two distinct styles, this phenomenal non vintage cuvée made in stainless steel and their oak vinified single variety wines.

Made from 65% Meunier and 35% Pinot Noir, the base wine is from the 2011 vintage and was discouraged in March 2022.

The Lequeux-Mercier, ‘G4.2’ Extra Brut is rich and complex on the nose with aromas of croissants, hazelnuts, caramel with pleasantly oxidative notes. The palate is opulent and precise with hints of baked apple and great structure and has a satisfying, chalky finish.

Perfect for the beginning, middle and end of a meal.
