Bibo Runge, Provokateur, Sekt, Brut NV

Beautifully salmon pink in the glass with aromas of ripe cherries, bread crust and yeasts. A juicy palate with lively fresh acidity and a fine mousse. A great example of well-made Sekt made from the Riesling grape and a splash of red wine.

Additional Information: The idea of Bibo Runge came through long discussions between Walter Bibo and Kai Runge in the autumn of 2013. They have a small winery in Hallgarten, where the respected traditional method of making wine is paramount.

All of Bibo Runge's wines have remarkable texture and finesse. The Sparkling Wine for the Provokateur undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle for 18 months, then at the time of disgorgement a small amount of red wine is added to give the wine it’s pink colouring.
