Additional Information: From the vineyard of Hacienda Doña Francisca, with 16 hectares, located within the Pago Callejuela. Situated on the typical albariza soils, at 62 metres above sea level. After fermentation, this wine is aged for 7 months in manzanilla butts under the yeast cap (Velo flor). The grapes come from three different pagos, showing the personality and the richness of nuances of the various terroirs of the area.
Callejuela was founded in 1980 by Francisco Romero Blanco, after spending more than 20 years as a labourer. He started making musts in a small facility and selling to the large wineries for the production of Fino and Manzanilla Sherry. In 1998, the third generation of the Blanco family took over the vines and the winery, creating the brand Callejuela.
