Ripe dark blueberries on the nose, juicy mulberries follows on the palate with hints of spice and nutmeg and liquorice Fruitiness is balanced with a fine tannic structure. A classic Corbières.

Additional Information: The wine producer ‘Cellier des Demoiselles’, was created in 1914, named after the women from the village who tended to the vineyards and developed wines during the first World War.

The vines grow in rocky schist soils in the craggy uplands of Cathar country, a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah.
