Additional Information: Contero are legends of Asti, making some of the best Moscato in the world. The Contero Guyot trained vineyards are in an amphitheatre in Strevi on steep hills with tuffaceous-marl and clay soil.
Grapes are hand harvested into wooden boxes, with only five tons per hectare harvested. Grapes are pressed gently and must fermented on the skins at low temperatures in stainless-steel tanks. The wine is drawn from the vat at an alcohol content of 5.5% and bottled under pressure for a light sparkle.
