Pronounced nose of garrigue and forest floor with spice. In the mouth, full bodied with concentrated flavours of fruitcake and juicy black fruits. Fantastic structure from balanced acidity and tannins and a beautiful, long finish. A classic Châteauneuf.

A classic blend of 65% Grenache, 15% of both Mourvèdre and Syrah and 5% of an ‘anonymous’ grape. All vines are over 60 years.
The Brunier family have been growers in Châteauneuf for more than a century and are among the top ten estates of Châteauneuf. Today, they have some 70 hectares of vineyards around Plateau de la Crau which lies to the south-east of the village.
Long maceration to extract colour and flavour and a dark tannic structure for longer life. No oak influence. Will age until 2040.
