Aromas of lemon sherbet, orange peel and ripe peaches and apricots with hints of white flowers. White stone fruits on the palate with a touch of nuttiness. Super fresh in the mouth with good texture and mouthfeel, the oak balancing nicely with the crisp minerality.

Additional Information: Bodegas Emilio Moro are based in Pesquera de Duero in the heart of Ribera del Duero.  

Third generation brothers José and Javier Moro have fully embraced technological advances to support their ethos of not using artificial irrigation. They want each harvest to represent the conditions of the vintage. 

Part of the ‘Sensing for Farming’ project in conjunction with Vodafone, their are sensors throughout their vineyards and combined with real-time satellite images, it allows measurement of a range of factors including humidity, temperature and water absorption. This enables José and Javier to reduce their water consumption, fertiliser and energy and has resulted in better quality grapes. 

Fermented at controlled temperature in stainless steel with ageing on the lees for eight months in new French oak barrels.
