Remarkably fresh for its age, burnished golden hue, rich texture, flavours of butter, bruised apple and lanolin with exotic, ripe tropical fruit, reminiscent of an aged Loire Chenin.

Forgotten parcels of traditional method English sparkling wine, rescued from obscurity, discovered, disgorged, dosaged then labelled and released under the Lark & Folly name.

Tiny quantities, rare gems, obscure varieties…

This traditional method blend of Huxelrebe and Reichensteiner was discovered by Tim in the cellars of a deceased estate, and disgorged on September 25th 2023, making for an amazing 17 years on lees. After disgorging, the wine was given a dosage of 8g/l and sealed with a crown cap. Only 360 of these bottles exist and they represent, to our knowledge, the only bottles of English Sparkling Wine from this vintage commercially available in the UK.
