Complex aromas of blackcurrant, red cherries & strawberries with hints of rhubarb and white pepper. Great structure with juicy ripe fruits yet with slatey fresh notes. Fabulous.

Country: France Region: Beaujolais Grape: Gamay

ABV: 14%  Bottle Size: 75cl  Organic

Kewin (Kéké to his friends) is the son of Georges Descombes, close friend of the“Gang of Four” of Guy Breton, Jules Chauvet, Jean Foillard, Marcel Lapierre and Jean-Paul Thèvenet and where the French Natural Wine movement started its momentum.

George Descombes gave Kéké 15 acres of vines in Morgon and at the age of 21, Kéké completed his first solo vintage.

Farming is organic, intervention is minimally minimal. Still in his twenties, Kéké is unambiguously one of the reinvigorated Beaujolais region’s brightest young talents.

He makes his wines with a similar natural philosophy to his father looking for vineyard purity to show through in each cuveé.

This is a very popular cuveé, selling out every year.
