An intense straw yellow in the glass. Papaya mango and exotic fruits rounded off by slightly minty notes. On the palate it has a distinct tannin that complements the acidity and transports some freshness. A powerful, full-bodied Riesling with a long finish.

The vines of the Knewitz GOLDBERG Riesling dry 2017 are rooted in the marl-lime soil of the Gau-Algesheimer Goldberg, which adjoins the Hundertgulden. The vineyard faces south-west and is considered the warmest location in the Knewitz brothers' portfolio.

Great with oily fish such teriyaki salmon.
