Complex on the nose with black cherries, hazelnuts and black pepper. Developing notes of dried fruits and leather. On the palate concentrated fruits are balanced with minerality, fine tannins and good structure. Elegant.

Additional Information: 20 years ago Mauricio Lorca was about to go to medical school and become a doctor before a winemaking tutor came to give a talk about their profession and his passion was ignited.
In 2002 he established his own winery in Perdriel in Lujan d Cuyo, 25km from the centre of Mendoza, Bodega y Viñedos Mauricio Lorca, where he produces a wide range of wines and today Lorca is a world renowned wine maker, achieving 96 parker points for some of Argentina’s world-famous brands
This malbec only had 2,500 bottles made and we have been allocated a limited amount. Completely handmade and fermented in clyvers (ceramic barrels).
This is ready to drink now but will develop for another 15 to 20 years.
