A complex, spicy and weighty Portuguese red blend from the Douro.
Rich yet with a minerality and freshness to it with good acidity meaning it will age well. The palate of plum, blackberry, cherry, and balsamic notes finish in a long, persistent and enjoyable sign-off.

Niepoort originally started as a Port house Niepoort but have successfully branched out into making a wide range of table wines and this one 'Redoma' is their original Douro red. Produced from several north facing vineyards in the Cima Corgo Region of the Douro Valley from vines older than 60 years. A traditional Douro blend featuring Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca, it's aged for around 20 months in French oak barrels.
A wine full of character and with good ageing potential.
