Additional Information: 11th generation winemakers Peter and Ulrich Griebeler took over the Heinrichshof family estate in 2014 and expanded to seven hectares. Half of their vines grow on the steep, slate soil slopes of the famous Zeltingen locations like the Sonnenuhr, Schlossberg and Himmelreich. The labels of the wines are taken from an old engraving produced at the turn of the 20th century which depicts the Zeltingen vineyards.
Fermentation is undertaken slowly and at cool temperatures in old traditional wooden barrels "fuder" and later in steel tanks.
