Additional Information: The 21-hectare Von Hövel estate is run from a manor house in the village of Konz-Oberemmel that was completed in the 12th Century and initially served as an abbey retreat. The cellar is today as it was over 800 years ago

The Saar Wine Estate von Hövel in Konz-Oberemmel is part of the Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates and is now run by the 7th generation. The traditional von Hövel winery, founded around 1800, is located near the pristine oxbow lake of the Saar. 

Harvested in pristine autumnal conditions, the selection and pressing of choice handpicked ripened grapes underwent traditional Auslese techniques, lending the wine deepened aromatic intensity and balanced sweetness. 

The 1990 vintage embodies the distinctive Mosel Valley character, marrying complexity and longevity. Not to be missed.
